Pedro Novo arquitectos was created in 2003, when its founder, architect Pedro Novo, graduated from Lusíada University of Lisbon. In 2014 the studio was distinguished by the Portuguese  Magazine “Construir” since it won the award for the best Housing Rehabilitation project and the award for the best National Architecture Studio. It develops a multidisciplinary work, and has participated in several exhibitions in Lisboa, Barcelona, Guinea-Bissau and more recently at the 20th Ibero-American Biennial of Architecture in Quito, Ecuador. Its founder, Pedro Novo teaches in the areas of new technologies of 3D digital drawing production and has a huge passion for photography, illustration and comics. He has published several articles in national and international editions and architecture magazines. In the last years, he has held exhibitions about heritage protection and the relations between architecture and comics. Organized conferences and master-classes in national universities and was invited as a jury to several architectural competitions.

João Morgado, 35, was born in Cascais and in 2008 he completed his master's degree in architecture from the University Institute of Lisbon (ISCTE). 

In the same year he went to Maastricht (Holland) to work at the studio of the prestigious architect Wiel Arets, where he discovered his passion for architecture photography.
In 2011 he founded his company João Morgado - Architecture Photography.
He was considered, in 2015, one of the ten best photographers of architecture of the world, by the magazine Top Teny, of New York.
In 2020, a photograph of his own, the Swimming Pools, in Leça da Palmeira - designed by the architect Álvaro Siza Vieira (architect with whom, he often works) - won the Citation Award in Los Angeles by American Institute of Architects.

The same photograph of the Swimming Pools, also won the award of Arcaid Images Architectural Photography 2014, in the category of "Sense of Space".
João Morgado continues to work in Portugal, but also in other countries, such as Italy, France, Spain, Brazil, United States and Kuwait.

Nuno Almendra, Born in Lisbon in 1977, the taste for photography was awakened in 1996 when he was offered an analog camera, of which it still makes use. 

But it was in 2009 that he began working in the area as an assistant to dutch photographer Alma Mollemans.The taste and desire to pursue a career began there. In 2010 he began his professional course at the

 Portuguese Institute of Photography. At the end of 2011, he moved to Mozambique and here founded the company, Photo2you. In the five years of residence in Maputo carried out photography work in different areas and scales.

 He returned to Lisbon in 2016 since then has been deepening photography in the area of architecture
